123 Go Drive app for iPhone and iPad

123 Go Drive is an app designed and developed for 123.ie Car Insurance customers. Using the built-in GPS functionality of your smartphone, the 123 Go Drive App takes key elements such as smooth driving, acceleration and braking into account to offer users feedback on their driving style and to encourage safe driving. The autostart functionality will automatically record your car journeys and you will receive a score representing how safe your driving is in relation to these five components:

* Smooth Driving
* Mobile Usage
* Speed
* Time of day
* Time on task

You will receive a score for each individual journey, and an overall driving score. For each journey you will receive feedback on your overall performance and your performance in relation to each of the five key components. Just click on the relevant section of the screen to view your feedback.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can affect your battery life. As a default setting we have selected for your journeys to upload in Wi-Fi areas only. You can turn this setting off and use your phone’s mobile data, however, please be aware that data charges will apply.

To use 123 Go Drive download the app. You will need to create your account. To do this, tap
on “create a new account”, register and enter your details including your email address and
password (minimum of 8 characters and to include at least one number).
